Why Rosie Bartlett chose Chipping Campden
The moment I walked into Twine Cottage I fell in love with it - it feels a little like going back in time yet with all the modern amenities. Quiet, pretty and in one of the loveliest Cotswold villages - it offers all you could want for a perfect holiday
What makes this Cottage unique
The thatched roof is unique to the cottage and the original wooden beams and doors make staying here a very special experience

Cottage in Chipping Campden-Cotswolds
This delightful cottage truly was in the heart of Chipping Campden, a wonderful Cotswold town, full of shops, pubs, restaurants, and sightseeing.
We had a lovely stay here at this picturesque cottage. We had everything we needed to enjoy a nice break away from home. Enjoyed lunch in the little cottage garden. Lovely walks on the door step and ample shops, pubs, tea rooms in the village itself which is literally a couple of minutes walk. We did a long circular walk one day (8 miles) with the dogs and ended up at The Bakers Arms in Broad Campden for lunch. Lovely little pub and great food. Dovers Hill walk was also a must. Overall a really nice break from our busy lives.
Thank you Claire for your review Hope to see you back at the cottage again in the future
The Cotswolds is charming all year round and visiting the Cotswolds is a wonderful experience. Officially the largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England, it isn’t hard to understand why the Cotswolds is known and loved by the English and foreign travellers alike.
Many come to the Cotswolds for the wonderful country walks, cycling along the highways and byways, exploring the wonderfully unique boutiques, each charming town and village have to offer and relaxing with a fabulous cream tea or sitting in front of an open fire at the end of the day.
Spring is a wonderful time to see the lambs and bluebell woods. The many unique Cotswold Cottage Gardens and country houses are a great way to enjoy the lighter summer evenings, whereas Westonbirt and Batsford Arboretum comes alive with its vast array of stunning leaf displays in autumn. And the Christmas markets are a wonderful way to start the festive season. Really, the Cotswolds has something for everyone of all ages and all tastes.
Twine Cottage is also within easy access to other quaint Cotswold villages such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton on the Water and Broadway and National Trust properties of Hidcote and Snowshill Manor and the larger towns of Stratford Upon Avon, Morton in Marsh and Cheltenham.
For walkers, the Cotswold Way starts in Chipping Campden.
