Location is a dream
This cottage is really beautiful and clean, has everything you need! The locations was spectacular, absolutely love Painswick.
The only downside is that the living space and kitchen are on the small side, there isn’t enough space for 4 adults to sit comfortably in the living room or to sit at the table in the kitchen.
Thank you for your lovely comments, Emilia. We’re pleased that overall you enjoyed staying at Teasel Cross Cottage and that you loved the location of Painswick. The owners have recently refurbished the property to highlight the cottages traditional character features and to make the most of the space available which is accurately presented in the online descriptions and property photos. The living rooms includes comfortable seating for four guests. The kitchen also contains a fold away wooden dining table and four dining chairs which are available for guests to use. Overall, we’re delighted to hear that the property offered everything that you needed, and we hope that you will be back to visit again one day soon!
Comfy and enjoyable!
Had a lovely five night stay. Just the two of us which was about right for the living space downstairs. Very nice welcome pack. Good instructions to locate the cottage although parking is a challenge
In tight streets and popular village. Used the back garden a lot. Needed a bit of gardening but still enjoyed the view from the top tier and the afternoon sun from the lower tiers. Great location and loved Painswick. Brilliant footpaths to explore and some great pubs awaiting!
Thank you for the lovely review, it’s great to hear that you had a comfortable stay at Teasel Cross Cottage and that you found the cottage easy to locate. The cottage is fortunately to have free, on street parking available outside the front of the property, alternative options are also available a short walk away. We’re pleased that enjoyed spending time in the garden, this will soon be at its best with the weather improving – Those views from the top tier are something special! We hope that you will be back to visit again soon.
Had a lovely weekend stay in this excellent quirky cottage, the welcome package was an excellent touch, would highly recommend especially to the shorter people in this world (low beams) lol

Beautiful tranquil cottage in a wonderful setting
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect for our visit. We spent 2 days walking and cycling the Cotswolds Way. It was fabulous to come back at the end of the day to enjoy a relaxing bath.
On arrival it was lovely to find in the kitchen some treats. The bottle of procecco was a welcome refreshment on our first evening. The kitchen was ideal plenty of utensils to use plus it was nice to have washing up liquid cloths etc. And a delight to have a few basics to use - salt & pepper.
We loved the terrace garden and took advantage of the beautiful weather by sitting out there for our breakfast.
The only downside was having to leave by 10 am, perhaps that could be extended out to 11?
We had a great time and hope to return again sometime soon!

A wonderful cottage in an idyllic setting
Beautifully presented, a lovely welcome hamper, clean throughout, comfortable beds, warm, and very close to all that's happening in Painswick. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All that would make it 100% perfect would have been a real fire (or log burner) rather than an electric flame effect fire
