The apartment is located directly in between the heart of two of Tokyo's most prestigious residential, business and nightlife districts called Akasaka and Roppongi. Akasaka station is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment entrance. All areas of Akasaka are accessible by foot in under 10 minutes, roppongi is just a 15 minute walk, most of the other key areas of Tokyo (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Tokyo station, Ginza, etc. are accessible in under 20 minutes by train or taxi (all under 2,000 yen / ~16 USD to the areas listed:taxi price).

Excellent central location for a 5 night stay
Our family of 4 loved having the opportunity to live like Tokyoites for 5 days!
Anthony was great to work with, he responded to messages really quickly, and provided a welcome guide before we arrived, so we knew exactly how to find the building from the Metro station and access the suite, which was greatly appreciated since we arrived in the late evening and were about ready for bed.
In terms of size, the suite was "cozy" for 2 adults and 2 older teens, but considering that it's central Tokyo, we fully expected smaller spaces than we’re used to in North America. The suite was modestly appointed, but had all of the amenities we needed. We found the single beds to be quite firm, but we wondered if that may be the standard in Japan. The WiFi hotspot provided average download speeds which tended to slow as more devices were connected, but the service was very reliable. And after 9 days on the road prior to our arrival, having access to a washing machine was fantastic.
The suite is ideally situated for day trips around the city. Long (but easy and low-impact) walks to Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya and Rappongi. Close proximity to Akasaka-mitsuke Metro station made it very easy to travel further afield.
The immediate neighbourhood around the building has a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, convenience stores and other shops to choose from. It was our first trip to Tokyo, so we had a checklist of major landmarks we wanted to see around town, but you could easily spend a full day and/or evening nearby.
If you have time, I highly recommend visiting the Hie Shrine, which is about a 10 minute walk from the suite. Very serene and beautiful.
We had a fantastic family vacation and left with a lot of really great memories. Thanks very much!
Fantastic property in Akasaka
Perfect place for visit in Tokyo. Easy access to multiple train stations or local Akasaka night life. No frills room was perfect for tokyo visitors looking for a comfortable place to sleep and a great shower. Wifi worked well.
Close Proximity to Akasaka Mitsuke Stn.
I think Anthony is a great host. We stayed there for 2 weeks and I felt it was one of the better facilities overall in Tokyo.
However should you need to wheel your luggage. It may be a bit labourous as one has to either wheel round a couple of blocks or take a shorter route by climbing up a flight of stairs with your luggage to the apartment. However if you are traveling with your backpacks, then Anthony is always available to show you the shortest route to the apartment. Which is quite easy from the station.
Overall I still give it a 4 star for these reasons :
a) 5 mins proximity from the station, Don Don Donki, Bic Camera, Lawson, Family Mart
b) Washing Machine (coin operated)
c) Spacious and fairly neat apartment
d) Ultra secure locks
d) portable Wi-Fi but limited bandwidth
I enjoyed my stay a lot - thanks Anthony. Will definitely consider your place whenever I travel to Tokyo. Cheerio
Nice place, good location and perfect stay!
Thank you so much for everything! Amazing location and will stay again in the future.
Such a great little apartment in the middle of Akasaka. Less than a 5 minute walk to the station. It’s a must stay!
