Excellent place to stay in Alexandria

Really enjoyed our 3 week stay. Host (Jack) was very hospitable and responsive during our stay. Location of “The Cottage” is convenient to the Metro (about 10-15 walk to either Braddock or King Street/Old Town Stations”) through pretty residential areas. Especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Would, without hesitation, stay at The Cottage again if visiting the DC area.

Fun little cottage

This small, cozy cottage is as described. It worked for us as we were out exploring all the sites from 8 AM to 8 PM. Great location. Super quiet neighborhood. Jack had it all ready and check in was super easy when we arrived late at 9 PM.

Clean and cozy

Jack was a very responsive and helpful host. The neighborhood was lovely. It took me 30-45 to walk to Old Town, but it was pleasant. The space was lovely. Very comfortable and well stocked. This is a great little place to stay!

The Cottage

Enjoyable place to stay. Jack was quick and took care of our one issue, and that was with an air mattress. I loved the outside patio watching the squirrels and birds. Lovely neighborhood. I would stay in The Cottage again.

Alexandria is FULL of history and conveniently located to downtown Washington, DC. You will LOVE our neighborhood. Lots of beautiful homes and well-maintained. Two choices of Metros, that can be reached within 12 minutes by foot. Amtrak Alexandria Union Station is about a 15 minute walk to and from the Cottage. So MANY conveniences.
