Completely as advertised. Very clean and in the perfect location
We thoroughly enjoyed our time!
Sweet but one problem
The house is like a doll house . It’s tiny and old and sweetly decorated. There are lovely flowers and a table, with chairs in the little yard downstairs off the back door. I loved the park across the street in back of the house. The kitchen is a great size and very workable if you use the table for counter space which is easy.
The house seemed really clean when we arrived but had a musty smell. Being asthmatic this was problem and it was not solved by opening the windows. My husband had asked and been told that there was no musty or moldy smell. Unless you have allergies it’s a great place. It was fun to come home to.
Absolutely As Advertised
Our group stayed at Nina’s place foThe The overview on HomeAway describes exactly what you’ll find, a cozy cottage in a charming town. Our group stayed in Pacific Grove for the US Open at Pebble Beach, and for our purposes, Nina’s house was ideal.
The beds are comfortable, and there’s plenty of bedding. The shower has good pressure, and there are plenty of towels. With as many as five in our group, we never ran out of hot water. Though we never had occasion to cook, the kitchen is surprisingly large, and appears to have everything you would need.
Mostly, and it’s repeated by everyone, it’s the location. Quiet neighborhood. Never a problem parking. Walking distance to everything. The Museum of Natural History is where we caught our shuttle everyday. It’s a two block walk, and itself well worth a visit.
One day, I hope to return to the Monterey Peninsula. Whenever I do, this is where I will stay.
Loved being close to the water
So much nicer than staying in a hotel.
Perfect in every way!
Perfect neighborhood. Perfect area. Perfect home away from home. We traveled here for the the Big Sur Marathon and this was the perfect place to stay. We were close enough to the race activities. This home is warm and inviting and room enough for the 4 adults in our party. The kitchen and the bathroom had adequate supplies for our stay. The beds were very comfortable, as were the sheets and the bed cover. Nina promptly answered all of our questions. Parking was never a problem and we have a very large truck. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you Nina! This is a gem!
