The Guest House is thoughtfully furnished with 1 king bed, 1 queen size bed, 1 twin roll-away. The living room has cable TV/DVD (second TV in BR), CD stereo, electric fireplace, WiFi. The kitchen is very well equipped including a spice rack, wine, champagne, martini & margarita glasses, brandy snifters & frosted beer mugs, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher & washer & dryer (detergent supplied). The dining area has a desk and views of the private backyard surrounded by stone walls (circa 1840's) and woods with an outdoor fire pit, 5 burner gas grill w/side burner, charcoal BBQ grill, patio furniture w/umbrella swing set, picnic table, 2 hammocks & 4 lounge chairs. The front deck has patio furniture w/umbrella and mountain views. We border Sunny Hill Golf Course (9 golf courses within a 14 mile radius). 32 minutes to Ski Windham. Our guests are invited to hike on 4+ miles of private trails & picnic areas on our 110 acres, visit with our horses, take the 12' rowboat & pedal boat on the pond. Heat & air conditioning.

Elizabeth was very welcoming and friendly as well as her pets, my kids had so much fun playing with the dog and petting the turkeys, got come fresh eggs, we had a great time, hope to go again. Definitely recommend!

Host was friendly but home is dusty

Elizabeth was a friendly host but the property was dusty there was spider web and dust in the ceiling the king size bedroom door was broken can’t close all the way and the bed back board was also broken whenever we adjust our position when sleeping it will bang to the wall and make a loud bang noise making it hard to sleep, the backyard grill was beyond dirty looks like it hasn’t been clean for a long time we had to clean the grill and wash it before even using it which was annoying since we was tired from the drive up hate to give bad review but this is definitely a 2 star rating for us instead of 4 stars

Perfect for our needs.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was like a home away from home. Elizabeth was so very so nice. I would definitely recommend her place. The view of the Catskills was beautiful. It also is very close to Sunny Hill golf course.

I enjoy living in the country, watching the deer and horses graze together in the pastures. Listening to the birds. Photographing nature. Hiking on the trails through the meadows and woods. Gathering eggs from my chickens. It's a very relaxed way of life.

It is a unique property set way back with a big front yard and has plenty of room for everyone to relax in the private backyard on the hammocks and chaise lounge chairs. BBQ on the gas & charcoal grills and enjoying a great meal. Roasting marshmallows and making s'mores sitting around the outdoor fire pit while enjoying a cocktail and Star gazing at night telling stories. Swing Set
