House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-10)
Why Chris Lange chose Suttons Bay
The property was part of the Raftshol family cherry orchard when my grandparents and great-grandparents were alive. The cherry orchard is now a vineyard, owned by my two Raftshol uncles.

Versatile, comfortable and great location!
The entire rental process was swift and smooth; the homeowner is very professional and responsive.
The photos accurately depict the home which is very comfortable. It's often about "location" and this property close to everything yet private. Wish our weather had allowed us to enjoy the water....maybe next time!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Suttons Bay. The view from the house was incredible and it was nice how the house was laid out. We were two couples and felt like we each had private space. The house was centrally located to many activities we wanted to do. The only downside was that our stay coincided with fruit flies season, which I didn’t know was an actual season. If you plan to come in late September or early October I would suggest bringing apple cider vinegar and dish soap with you. Would definitely stay again.
Sutton’s Bay Stay
Very nice and comfortable inside the cottage. Nice view of Sutton’s Bay.
Nice and private, but close to town.
Very nice home on secluded property. Beautiful lakefront view. Only a short drive into town for dinner and shopping. We enjoyed our stay very much!
We had a lovely time, the house was clean and had everything we needed apart from consumable goods. We enjoyed the view and made good use of the patio and fire pit overlooking the bay. We enjoyed exploring the local vineyards and charter fishing during our stay and the cottage was conveniently located. The owner was easy to contact. The only issues were very minor, ( no nonstick pan in the kitchen, didn’t like the spatula provided) but overall a fantastic stay.
Great cottage for an up North family vacation
House was great. Very modern and clean and we had everything we could ask for. Location was great, right on the lake and a short drive from town - very quiet and secluded. Chris did a great job and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this great cottage and we’ll consider it for future vacations.
Located 2.5 miles north of Suttons Bay, on the east side of M-22.
Looking to golf? Perfect area for that! Fantastic golf courses surround Traverse City. Want to go fishing? Look no further. Shopping? How about a large mall, an outlet mall, and amazing local shops to find that special treasure. The dining is also fabulous, and we have amazing local chefs that will prepare scrumptious meals that you`ll want to tell your friends and family about, not to mention the many restaurants with gorgeous waterfront views.
