Studio Apartment, sleeps 4, at the base of the ski lifts in Vail-LionsHead

Why Antoine Attier chose Lionshead Village
Location! Location! Location! This is not the most luxurious property in Vail, but definitely one of the best located in the valley. I buy primarily based on location, and this one is a 41 second walk to the Ski Lifts! No more jammed shuttles/bus, just wake-up and you're on the slopes!

Cute little place
Cute place, comfy bed, good price for location.
The location was really great. It offered easy access to the lifts and restaurants. The condo needs some repairs. The bathroom fan/light was falling out of the ceiling. The toilet is not properly secured. The kitchen faucet leaked at the back and the sink is so small that washing dishes was a challenge. If you are only there for the skiing, it should be fine.
Dated condo close to Gondola
The Lift House itself is dated and the condo is no better. Please read the information listed in the condo description carefully as it is bare. It is an efficiency with a kitchenette, but there was no paper towels, no pepper or other condiments, 3 kleenexes in a box, etc. You need to purchase everything with which to prepare a meal.
Very dated. Toilet isn't even bolted down. Fridge handle broken. Stains in carpet. Furniture worn
Location is the only thing going for this property.
Labor Day at the Lifthouse
Clean, well equipped unit. Great location. The keypad arrangement was a bit clumsy for us.
Great location in the heart of Vail Lionshead
The location is exactly as stated...one minute walk to ski lift, choice of restaurants, shops, Starbucks, ice cream, etc. Beautiful view, balcony overlooks shops & part of mountain. Parking is very close (we never needed the car during our 3-day stay). The unit is small and was fine for the two of us, however it would be difficult for any more people to stay. We only used the bed for sleeping, which was comfortable. The couch was not very solid and sunk in a little, I think because it's a pull-out bed. We just used it as a quiet place to read so it was fine. We never turned the TV on, but the wifi worked great. Not sure about the fireplace either. The kitchen is small but worked perfect for us. We did not cook there, only used the fridge (listed as small but had plenty of space for leftovers, etc). It's an old building so we could hear others sometimes, but not excessively. The numbers on the keypad seemed to stick, so seems it could be updated, but we got it to work. Overall we enjoyed our stay, & if I was heading to Vail again with a friend, I would choose to stay there again.
Location! Location! Location! In the heart of Vail Lionshead Village, Colorado, 41 seconds (120 Yards) walk to the ski lifts and Gondola, across the pedestrian mall from the Arrabelle At Vail, Resort and SPA. No need to ride the shuttle to get to the slopes!
