Beautiful cabin & location, comfortable for 9 people with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on 2 floors. Private river frontage to swim, fish, canoe, or tube. 1 King bed, 2 Queen beds, 3 twin beds, game room with a pool table, 6 person hot tub, outdoor fire pit, grills, bedding & towels are included. You WILL want to come back again! SPECIAL JANUARY 3 to March 31 GET 3 NIGHTS FOR THE PRICE OF 2 (NOT APPLICABLE ON HOLIDAY WEEKENDS) Discount will be given at time of reservation.

This place definitely feels like heaven got a great name

The house was great they even had a high chair and some baby spoons which that came in very very handy well equipped with everything you needed very nice comfortable bedding plenty of room even a little bird feed her outside to feed the birds which was great we will definitely visit again

Family gathering

The home was a great gathering for our family from 3 different locations! We enjoyed fellowship, games, walks along the river, fires in the evenings, visiting local activities!! Great memories were made! Thank you for your hospitality!

Rapid Retreat Labor Day Getaway

We were exceedingly pleased with all parts of our stay at the River Retreat. The location and the house were perfect for our family and we love the quick access to the Shenandoah River. All was as it was advertised in the listing. We would recommend staying here and are planning and plotting as to when we can return.

Short Vacation

House was nice. Kitchen was well stocked. Fire pit was a big hit with the family House is close to Shenandoah National Park to allow easy access to hiking trails

Through the years of our own family vacations, we realized a need for a place like Rapid Retreat. Vacations are so much fun when you can share them with your favorite family members and friends, so we created the perfect spot for big get togethers. We've had our own families here and tested the waters to see what was needed most to make this one of the best places to stay. We truly do supply everything that anyone would ever need for a perfect stay!

Who wouldn't want to own 4 acres on the Shenandoah River with a 3,100 square foot home? It's the kind of place you want to share with others as the Shenandoah Valley is a truly beautiful place to see.

What makes this property unique

Rapid Retreat is a year round delight! No long, mountainous roads that can't be assessed without a 4 wheel drive. Very nice, family oriented neighborhood where you can let it all hang out! 2 floors really are handy for spreading out and relaxing. The large yard provides so many outdoor games & activities.
