Great Place to Stay!
Property was very clean and easy to get into. Great location too!
Sweet little Charleston cottage
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood. We walked every morning to get coffee (there are several coffee shops nearby to choose from) and in the evenings walked to dinner. House was very clean and the bathrooms were well stocked with soaps, shampoos. There is also a washer dryer which is a plus. The owner was very kind and easy to work with, even letting us have a later check out when our flights were delayed. You won't regret staying here!
Girls Trip 2019
The best 2 things about the Green Cottage was the location and the on site parking. We really enjoyed our stay at the Green Cottage! Looking forward to another trip to Charleston! I highly recommend the Green Cottage.
Very happy with property would help if there would be a couple of outside chairs.
This is our 9th VRBO rental and by far the worst. Cozy is big compared to the front bedroom and bath. Ice maker does not work, living room ceiling lights do not work. Refridgerator doors need swing changed. Very small kitchen with no dishwasher. No where to sit and eat except outside picnic table. Light switches everywhere but most don't appear to work anything. A towel bar in bathrooms would be helpful as well as a toilet paper holder. Privacy door does not close. You must be over 6' tall to read the dryer controls. Extremely small unit for 4 people. Beds were very comfortable.
Picture perfect southern hospitality
My wife and I and our two adolescent kids stayed 4 nights in the Green Cottage and it was an outstanding experience! The cottage looks exactly like it does in the pictures, the location is awesome, and we really appreciated the off-the-street parking this offered. Stevenson, the owner, was great to work with and very responsive when I communicated with him. We had one minor issue outside of his or our control that he addressed immediately. He provided great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Everything we needed was there for our family and enough space for all of us to be comfortable. The only piece of feedback we have is we would have appreciated some more detail in the Welcome Packet regarding the history of the cottage, like when it was built approximately, former use, etc. (because I am a bit of a history nerd). Overall, there is really nothing negative to share. Great value for the money, beautiful and comfortable accommodations, and a host who embodies Southern Hospitality! If we make the cross-country drive again to Charleston, I would definitely stay here again and have told my friends and family who live much closer than we do to stay here as well.
Located in charming, historic and lively neighborhood. Car not necessary but recommended to see attractions outside of town: Sillivans Island, Magnolia Plantation, Drayton Hall, etc.
