Update-July 22 2020-We are Open During Covid-19

We sincerely hope that you and your family are doing well and staying positive while we ride out this situation together-but apart.

On May 15th 2020, the BC Provincial Health Officer, began allowing British Columbians to enjoy some of the freedoms that we used to have, as long as we stay within the guidelines that have been implemented.

NOTE: We Have Covid-19 Protocols in Place:
Once you book your stay, we the property owners, will contact you through the VRBO or Home AWAY messenger system or by email and we will require you to complete a Covid-19 Declaration form, that will need to be signed by all parties staying in the suite. The form consists of basic health questions and your recent travel history.

If you are arriving from outside of Canada, you are required by law
to quarantine for 14 days. WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO STAY HERE THAT WILL BE REQUIRED TO QUARANTINE.

We will accept non-BC residents as guests, as long as you meet the requirements on the Covid-19 Declaration and that upon arrival, you self-assess and confirm that your health is the same as it was on the date that you signed the Covid-19 Declaration. We reserve the right to decline visitors to our suite based on recent health and travel history.

We can assure you that on top of our usual diligent cleaning that Covid-19 Protocols have also been implemented to ensure you a clean and safe environment here at Waterloo Gardens.

You will be expected to adhere to the current Provincial COVID-19 restrictions as set out by our health officer and Premier.

Please note: We have ZERO tolerance for smoking. In fact, due to severe allergy, we do not even permit smokers to stay here. The entire suite and property are non-smoking-Thanks!

Our 500 square foot vacation rental suite features sleeping and sitting areas with modern furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, and full en suite bathroom. Waterloo Garden is a self-catered accommodation, where you are free to set your own pace and make the most of your holiday.

Luxuriate over coffee, fresh scones and home made preserves while lingering on your private patio. Enjoy a glass of wine or herbal tea and curl up on the loves eat in the privacy of your own suite. Imagine no schedule or pre-set breakfast time. Sleep in if you dare. Whether you stay for a night, a weekend, a week, or a month, this beautiful, private garden suite contains everything you will need to ensure a fabulous and memorable stay.

Your hosts, Ron and Cathie, will welcome you with open arms, but there will be no need for awkward conversations and interactions. Your hosts will be available to offer recommendations on dining, attractions, shopping, and more, but you will have the suite and garden all to yourself.





Nestled amongst a stand of notorious Gary Oaks, Waterloo2 immerses you in the heart of a private, quiet garden sanctuary. Gaze into the trees and observe the acrobatic gray squirrels, traveling from branch to branch. Hear the melodic bird songs of local sparrows, robins, and swallows. Smell the lingering fragrance of the mature, well-kept garden and surroundings just outside your door. Waterloo2 is a very modern yet comfortable 1 Bedroom, 1 bath, plus TV lounge and kitchenette self contained suite. Outdoor patio space with dining table, allows you to soak up sun in the southern exposure.

This 500 square foot, well designed vacation rental suite features sleeping and sitting areas with modern furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, and a 3 piece bathroom. Waterloo2 is a self-catered accommodation, where you are free to set your own pace and make the most of your stay. Shared laundry facilities are available upon request.

On your arrival there will be a “starter kit” of healthy breakfast food items that you prepare yourself. Always included for your Waterloo2 stay are: selection of coffee and teas, all paper and soap products (excluding hair products), home made jams, sugar, oil and vinegar, and some spices. Fresh herbs are right outside your door during summer stays.

Whether you stay for a night, a weekend, a week, or a month, this beautiful, private garden suite contains everything you will need to ensure a fabulous and memorable stay.

Soundproof for bedroom ceiling
It is for the owner only, if the ceiling in the bedroom will be soundproof it will be a 6 star evaluation. Early in the morning you hear people walking. The location is top, the cleanliness is top and view of the garden amazing. We enjoy our stay. Thanks Cathie and Ron. M-C from Montreal

We came at night and we couldn’t see the house number. I had to put the flashlight on my phone and walk up to the house to see the number. Lighting came on going down the stairs but could use better lighting out front at night. Also it would be nice to have ice for drinks . But we were happy with the place and location.

Separate entrance from Gorgeous back garden. Covered patio with breakfast table. Pristine 2 room suite. Cathie has thought of everything. Kitchette is well equipped. So Private & Comfortable. 4 min walk to bus 14, if you are using BC Transit.
