About Glen & Kristy Adair
We are an Army family who calls 'Upstate, SC' home. The Upstate of SC has so much to offer – from lakes to mountains, college football to fishing tournaments – within a relatively short driving distance. We are both graduates of the local well-known university and lovers of Lake Hartwell. We live and work less than an hour away (in Greenville) from Hartwell Heaven. We take pride in our property and are responsive and available to personally attend to any of our renters needs. Our lake house is fully furnished and treated as if it were our second home! We looked forward to sharing our secluded and relaxing getaway with you.

Why Glen & Kristy Adair chose Anderson
Since we met at Clemson University (just up the road), we've always been drawn to Lake Hartwell. Lake Hartwell is one of the southeast's largest and most popular recreation lakes. We knew we wanted a place where we could get away from it all (without going too far). Hartwell Heaven is a very short distance from Interstate 85 – making the drive to/from Greenville, Charlotte and Atlanta convenient. Although the lakehouse is off the beaten path, it is convenient to all the amenities one might need (movie rentals, movie theaters, shopping, and dining are all less than 15 minutes away). Hartwell Heaven sold us the minute we saw it... situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, about 65 feet from waters edge, on a deep, peaceful alcove, just off of Big Water, you can sit on the porch, listen to nature and feel a thousand miles away from 'city life.' We look forward to sharing this hidden treasure with you.
What makes this House unique
The landscape is natural and serene! You will not find a more peaceful place to spend your free time! The water in our cove is very deep allowing us to enjoy skiing, tubing and swimming without worrying about lots of 'thru-traffic'. PLUS... each bedroom has a lovely view of the water. With the many porches and decks, there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. In addition, we are a local family so we have the ability to respond to our guests needs directly and are happy to answer any questions.

Super cute house. Very peaceful area and convenient location! Would definitely stay here again!
We originally booked the home for a Clemson weekend, but added on several days because we evacuated from hurricane Dorian. The home was very comfortable, and my kids loved swimming off the dock. The house was well stocked, we just couldn’t find a lighter for the grill or a cookie sheet. May bring those if you foresee the need. Fantastic week and we would return.
Thank you very much for the kind words. Glad the family was able to remain safe, away from the hurricane and enjoyed swimming and sunshine instead. Hate to hear that the lighter and cookie sheet have some how disappeared from the house. We will make sure they're replaced between visitors. Hope to have you all back in the future.
Good property and everything worked as advertised. There were six of us and the room was adequate for all of us to hang out. Dock was great and we spent a lot of time hanging out on it or in the water. Grocery stores were very close by along with other establishments that were needed. We were allowed to check in a bit early which really help as we were coming at different times from different places. We would stay here again.
25th Anniversary stay
The property was clean and had all the necessities we needed and more! The covered boat dock allowed us to bring our boat and we loved being right on the lake for early morning or an evening cruise. The only trouble we had was with our boat trailer. You can't turn around in the cul-de-sac. we had to unhitch the trailer from the truck and physically turn it around and back it down the driveway. But we did have a large trailer (22'). A smaller trailer shouldn't be a problem to turn around (15' or less). Overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate go stay here again. Thank you for helping us spend a wonderful anniversary on the lake!
Birthday #5 celebration
We were very comfortable in your lovely home. It had everything we needed. The dock and water were, of course, the major attraction during that very HOT weather. Nice accommodations! My grandson was infatuated with the frogs and we loved seeing the cranes, geese/ducks and the deer.
Great lake vacation location
The property is very comfortable and located in a great area of the lake. The water access is very good for swimming and boating. The house is well equipped for cooking and entertaining. Games are available as well. Great place.
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, skirted by lakes and rivers, Anderson lies along the South Carolina Heritage Corridor in the state’s northwestern corner. A perfect location to take in all that Clemson football has to offer. Lakehouse is located just south of Interstate 85.
