We aren't like other rental management companies; we are vacation property owners too and we understand the investment made and the desire to maintain our beautiful vacation homes. Great Location/Great Place To Visit!
It was nice...for the price.
The location is nice if you are like me and want to be directly on the beach and not have to battle crowds and 20 floors of elevators. For the price point it’s good although a few improvements could be made. The townhome itself is a bit dated and is not new construction. However, that’s not a make it or break it situation. The porch would be best enjoyed with an awning or an umbrella like the other properties attached since the sun tends to blast the back porch in the hottest part of the day. However we did enjoy sunset dinners on the back/lower deck and/or in the mornings during the cooler part of the day. The master bath drain was not draining completely and I couldn’t tell if it was clogged or if it was from the drain mechanism not working properly. There were some essentials like an initial roll of toilet paper, and paper towels, and detergent for dishwasher but I had to go buy dish soap, and salt and pepper (we cooked most meals to save cost). I’ve seen several people complain about the path to the beach being overgrown and difficult to utilize, and the rental agency rebutting it stating beach access is 60ft to the left of the building. Let me clarify. Yes, there is a public beach access to the left of the building, however, there is no water hose there to wash your feet or gear off before entering back into the property without tracking sand. The only way to rinse off your feet, etc after being on the beach is to walk up the path that leads underneath the home to the stairs where there is a hose to wash off leading to the back deck. The path underneath the house was completely overgrown and I had to borrow the neighbors hedge trimmers to clear the walk way a bit. I wasn’t upset about it or anything but I do feel the path should be kept better manicured OR the water hose be accessible from the front of the house - just a suggestion. All in all, is this the fanciest, most luxurious place to stay on the beach? No, probably not - however, did my family have a good time and make the most of it. Yes, we absolutely did.
Great location. Just as advertised. Saw several review that the air didn’t work well. It worked great for us. We had no problems with the temperature. The only issue I had was that the master bedroom sheets were stained.
Great location although beacj acces was alittle complicated specially in the evening due to the only way to get there was walking under the house in the dark with the kids it was kind of scary, some lights would help, shower courtains need to be replaced, they are dirty and stained.

The property was in a great location. The condo was very cleaned and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.
We arrived at the property around 6:30 pm to the curtains drawn and all the ceiling fans whipping as fast as possible. It only took a few steps in to realize the AC wasn't working. The thermostat indicated the condo was at 78%, even though the temp was set at 72. I called the property number and they sent maintenance quickly. Please note that I had read a review a couple of weeks ago saying the AC wasn't cooling. I called Blue Sun Property and asked about the review - and told them I could not stay in it if the AC didn't work. The property person told me that the AC worked fine and that the problem occurred because of of the kids left the balcony door open and the AC froze up, but that it was taken care of.
When the maintenance guy stepped in the condo, he said almost immediately that the AC was not large enough to accommodate cooling that condo. The air coming out was cool, but while he was there the temp went up to 79. He was very nice - but it was obvious he was familiar with the issue. He told us it would eventually cool a little but we'd have to leave the curtains drawn. We told him we couldn't stay in the condo so he told me to call the property person back. I did and asked to talk to Jessica. I told them we could not stay in the condo and that I also felt I'd been misled, after calling specifically about the AC. I did get a call back fairly quick - here were my options I was given: 1) move to another unit that wasn't clean yet (7 pm) and cut our stay short by a day or 2) get a refund. I took the refund. It took us 3 hours to find a place to stay. My suggestion - do not book this condo - property management and owners are obviously aware of the AC problem and choose to do nothing. I won't trust Blue Sun Property again or book a unit they are managing.
