Charming and comfortable
I rented this cottage because I have been working locally. It has been the perfect lace to come back to in the evenings, cosy and comfortable. Lauran has bent over backwards to make sure that I and some members of my family who came for the weekend, were comfortable and accomodated.
Great place for exploring this part of Dorset, lots of leaflet about local attractions in the cottage. A pub with reasonably good food is at the end of the drive. There is an excellent shop/post office in the village. Puddletown Forest is within walking distance to get lost in!
Thank you very much for your thoughtful review. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay in our cottage - it was a pleasure having you there!
Puddletown was so well situated for exploring Dorset. The cottage is at the end of a rather potholed drive and is quirky, cute and comfortable.
We're very glad you enjoyed your stay in our cottage and its handy location. With regards to the driveway, you are the first to mention it... some cars probably feel the surface more than others. Thank you very much for writing us a 5-star review, much appreciated!
Lovely place: lovely location
This was just what we wanted - a cosy home from home in an ideal site to explore Dorset. Accessible and easy car parking, lovely little private garden, and the Blue Vinny pub provides good food only a couple minutes walk away. Lauran is an ideal landlady, welcoming and helpful yet leaving us to enjoy our stay. We will be back!
Thank you very much for your lovely review. It's always good to hear that people enjoy the cottage and its location and we'd be delighted to see you both again.
We loved staying at this property. There was plenty of room for the two of us. It was charming and had everything we needed. It is also well located to get to lots of places in Dorset. The only issue was slow internet, but I think the owners will fix that.
Many thanks for such a great review, and we're very happy that you enjoyed Dorset and your stay in our cottage - you certainly seem to have had a productive time! Sorry, though, to hear about the internet..it hadn't been mentioned before but we're certainly on the case. Thank you for telling us and enjoy the rest of the summer!
As an addendum - this was a temporary issue with our ISP but is now working fine.
The property is located in a quiet village but not too far from the larger towns. It is clean comfortable and quaint, has all the amenaties that you need. A great getaway or base to explore the surrounding countryside.
Thank you very much for your kind review - much appreciated! We're very glad you enjoyed your stay and wish you happy travels for the remainder of your trip.
