The lodge was really well situated with great views across the Purbeck hills. It was clean, cosy and the hot tub was a welcome treat after long walks. Bar staff were very friendly and accommodating.
May Week away
On arrival the lodge had not been cleaned. The beds were made up and the bathrooms were clean. But The rest of the place was dirty. Spoke to Martin on reception who was very apologetic and arranged for it to be cleaned whilst we enjoyed free drinks at the bar.
The lodge is beautifully decorated and the furnishings were of good quality. It has everything you need for a family of 6-7. The shower and bath in the main bathroom are luxurious very modern with funky gadgets.
The hot tub was a wonderful bonus and it is a very tranquil part of the park. Tucked away. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back again.
We managed OK with a wheelchair but some of the doors are a little bit tight.
Lovely log cabin
We had a lovely weeks stay here with family. The hot tub was a great bonus. The cabin was well equipped and the beds were very comfy. Staff were helpful with any queries we had. The space between cabins looks small, but they are designed well and give enough privacy for it not to be a problem at all. Great location to explore the area and only a few minutes drive to the ferry so you can get a little further afield if you like,
Lovely secluded location and very friendly staff
Log cabin was perfect with every home comfort and secluded enough to be private. Highly recommend and would love to go back again.
