It was a group of 6 for us and this condo is AMAZING. The view you get to wake up to everyday. The fully equipped kitchen. Sheila was able to answer my questions whenever I contacted her. It's up the hill so we mostly take Tuk Tuk to get to the condo, about 200 baht each ride. Close to restaurants and stores once you get down the hill. The condo is beautiful.
So pleased you had such a wonderful stay and look forward to welcoming you back to A8 anytime.
simply the paradise on earth.
The view is simply breathtaking. The Penthouse is equipped with everything you Need (we do have 4 boys)! Kata Beach in walk distance down the hill.
Sheila the owner is very accommodating. What to say, we will be back in December 2019 again!
Stunning View, Amazing place
Had such a good time staying at this place. Sitting on the massive couch in the living room, being able to open up the entire living room door/ window and enjoy the sunset every day with a drink in your hand is just fantastic and super relaxing.
If you just want to wind down and spend some time at a beautiful place with amazing views, your own pool and stunning sunsets - you came to the right place!
Also check out Da Vinci's Italian restaurant out around the corner. Probably the best Italian food you can get in Phuket.
Thanks for your lovely review Jan, so pleased you had such a great holiday, we would welcome you back anytime.
Amazing apartment, great view, perfect location.
Perfect stay for a couple or family. Spacious, modern apartment with an amazing view and amenities. Would definitely recommend!
Firstly, thank you to Sheila and Andy for their hospitality!! Thank you also to Khun Am and all of the The Heights staff who are typically warm and generous with everything that they do everyday. Villa A6 was perfect for our family of 6, including 4 teenagers: privacy and space for everyone and also large and inviting living areas for all to sit and relax together. The view from A6 is superb and despite a few days of rainy weather, we enjoyed every moment of Kata Beach, Big Buddha and Andaman Sea gazing from the comfort of the Villa's verandah, pool and living spaces. Great to be able to manage some laundry when needed and have a fully equipped Kitchen with more than we would possibly have needed to use during our stay. Nice to see the lounges and market stalls back on the beach for awesome, lazy, hungry, thirsty, fabulous days on the beach. We are happy to walk and walk and walk while we holiday, there is so much more to discover when you go by foot, but were definitely happy to take advantage of TukTuks more than a few times for the climb back up the hill to the The Heights from trips around Kata and the beach. Car or TukTuk or Taxi will be a must at some point during your stay in A6. Lovely, peaceful, comfortable, spacious and amazing!! Thank you so much.
Thank you Louise I am so pleased you enjoyed staying at A8, it was a pleasure to have you stay and will welcome you and your family back any time.
Breathtaking villa, holiday of a lifetime
Wow. How do you even begin to explain how incredible this villa is. As soon as you walk in the place literally takes your breath away. The view is spectacular at all times of the day, but my personal highlight was watching the sunset on the balcony with a cocktail. The ceilings are high, the place is perfectly furnished and the master bedroom is amazing. Having two levels really makes the place feel like a home away from home. Kata is a lovely area with awesome resturants and two great beaches within walking distance or just a tuk tuk away. Sheila was so helpful with everything and made sure that our stay was silky smooth. I have been back a few times now and will continue to return.
Thanks for your review Stephanie, we would welcome you back anytime. Best wishes for 2017.
As Phuket is an Island there are many lovely white sandy beaches. However, the closest beaches to the property are Kata and Kata Noi. Kata Beach is about a 10 minute walk down hill and Kata Noi is about a 15 minute walk. Both beaches are picturesque and have plenty of lounger chairs with umbrellas for a small rental charge payable on all beaches in Phuket. If you have a car then you can drive to Nai Harn which is a very pretty smaller secluded beach along the coast.
There is only one airport and that is Phuket International Airport which is situated at the Northern West Coast. There are Taxi's available which cost in the region of about 20.00 Pounds to Kata depending on how well you barter. There are also car hire which will cost anything from 20.00-40.00 pounds per day depending on your requirements. From the airport to Kata is approximately 50 minutes drive and is very straight forward if you were to hire a car.
The closest village to the property is Kata which is a 10 minute walk. The closest tourist attraction is Promthep Cape which would have to be the island's most photographed and perhaps best-known location. This is about a 7-10 minute drive. There are also 3 Elephant parks, go-karting, quad biking and shooting range all within 10 minutes drive.
The local shops are 10 minutes walk downhill from the property, where you will find is a small grocery store providing all the necessary essentials like eggs, bread, milk, pasta, beers, wines etc... Several banks and money changers are easily found as well as Seven/Eleven outlets. Many massage and pampering spa treatments are never far away in Phuket providing great value and relaxation. All types of shopping can be found along the narrow streets of Kata including sales of swimwear, dresses, T shirts, shorts, shoes, hand bags, hats, belts reading and sun glasses, DVD's, jewellery and plenty of beach needs and attire. Within Kata itself there are about 100 restaurants offering both local and International Cuisine. Several within easy walking distance of the property including Re Ka Ta, The Boathouse and Mom Tri's Kitchen which are all down the hill towards the beach on the main road. There are also 3 restaurants up the hill about 7 minutes walk which are Afterbeach Bar, Small View Point Seafood Bar and Bann Chom View. These offer a fantastic sunset view and the food is both Western and Thai is inexpensive and tasty. As far as places of interest there are so many but to name a few Promthep Cape, The Big Budda both within an easy drive as well as Wat Chalong and Phuket Temples. There are many different boat trips to take including James Bond Island, Phi Phi and Phang Nga Bay. The boat trips are offered by many outlets in Kata village and are a great way to see the islands off Phuket. There are lots of ways to relax in Kata including lying on the white sandy beaches or participating in a bit of Parasailing seeing a birds eye view of the stunning coastal line of South Phuket. There are jet ski's, banana ride behind the back of a speed boat and of course sailing. The island of Phuket has so much to offer to all ages it is no wonder that when you find a holiday destination like this you will want to come back year after year and always find something new.
