House in Antibes, Alpes Maritimes, Cote DAzur, France - Magical Views Of The Sea, In The Centre Of Old Antibes
About Nancy Mina
Antibes for me is magical....I enjoy all my neighbours who are French, Swiss, and Swedish. The village multi national. As I was an American ex pat in Asia and Europe for 12 years, I find living a European life several times a year a wonderful balance. My little dog Bubba is a jet setter to travelling with me and loves to meet all the other dogs. He makes me walk him several times a day and it is such a beautiful place to be on the sea. It is beautiful 12 months a year.
Nancy Mina purchased this House in 2006
Why Nancy Mina chose Antibes Old Town
There are very few houses (not apartments) with direct view of the sea. It is in the middle of old village so there is no need for a car and with a private entrance, I found peace and serenity. A big plus is that it is such a short distance from the airport after a long haul flight!
What makes this House unique
The house is in the center and on sea so views of regattas, sunrises, full moons, yachts and the alps. 200 meters to restaurants, Marche Provencale, museums... Unique in antibes is that there are only 15 properties with sea views in this location on the remparts...

Fabulous, charming and the best location.
An original Antibes cottage. Two bathrooms are perfect for couples, well equipped kitchen, air conditioner in master and beautiful views. Dot the housekeeper will pick you up at the airport for a fee. It was a perfect house for us!
Totally enchanting magical time
This is a very special house. I've admired it from outside for a long time and having the chance to live in it for a few days was just perfect. Within it is beautifully arranged and decorated in shades of coolest blues and acqua and is very well equipped. From its balcony it has literally one of the most astounding views in Europe ( no I'm not exaggerating) - for it takes in from west to east the Cap d'Antibes across the Baie des Anges and Nice, and then onwards towards the layered headlands of Italy. On very clear days you can see the Southern Alps - still snow-tipped in May. It is a beautifully converted old fisherman's cottage and thus is a taste of Old Antibes. Stairs may be an issue for people with mobility problems, but for everybody else it is superb. On a practical level it is located in the heart of the famous Old Town with Provencal market, restaurants, bars, cafes and excellent shopping all round the corner. I can't wait to return.
Excellent - what a great spot
We loved starting at this house. Right in the middle of old Antibes but looking out over the water it was perfect. We could walk to the market, restaurants, bars and shops in a couple minutes but at the same time it was totally silent at night. We loved it and would love to come back.
Our fourth year and we're hoping to come back next year
A beautiful way to extend the english summer. There's nothing better than sitting on the balcony looking out over the sea in the Mediterranean sunshine.
And you are perfect guests!
A little house with a big personality
Lovely little house in a great situation. Wonderful views of the sea and passing boats. The market and shops a very short distance away. Plenty to do and see in Antibes and surrounding area. Enjoyed it so much I am going back to the house next year.

We were absolutely delighted with our holiday. The house is fantastic. It absolutely oozes charm and the balcony provides you with the best views in Antibes!
Location is fantastic. Fabulous sea views and so close to everything Antibes has to offer- market; beach; intriguing old town; restaurants and cafes; and of course lots of original art!
Short walking to beaches Plage Gravette or Plage Salis. The Royal Beach Club is a wonderful way to stay for the day with loungers and a fantastic lunch on the sea.
Nice airport is 20 kilometres and there are taxis and buses. Take a train to Paris! The train station is a 10 minute walk or go to Italy for the day.... There is a car rental location name Midiloc where you can rent a car for the day to go Eze for 37 euro all inclusive. Just ask for Martine and she will help you out.
The old town has a fantastic variety of shops for food, items typical to this area of France, clothing and boulangeries. The historic seaside town has history from the Greeks and Romans. There are so many pretty streets and Place National has clothing and antique markets on various days through the week.
